MORE INFO
Walt Whitman’s poem ‘Yet, yet, ye Downcast Hours’ inspired me to create a few different versions of typographic 10 x 10 posters. Many of the images focus on the emotions of the poem and the perception of a man drawing from his past experiences to move on into the future. Using the voices from his past to help him endure the realization of his last hours and rummaging through the emotions brought on by the remains of his past. Using the same font for each of the images helped create a unified theme and tie in all of the images to the different points of the poem.

The poem yet, yet, ye Dowcasr Hours the way i intereprit is about an old man on his death bed. which the voices on his head are giving him comfort on his last moments of death.
